As impressive as this is, and it shows the nearly infinite numbers of the sentinels, it's a little underwhelming they'd resort to kamikaze swarms, especially when considering just what a whole swarm of them can do in the books. I was expecting them to combine their beams to utterly carve the ship up like a Christmas goose.

this game series was one of the most hilarious I've ever seen and I've only ever been able to play this one since Nintendo refuse to allow the 2nd and 3rd games on other platforms but I still love the series for what it is

The game is interesting in a sense of "What's industrial syberia town would look like". Its like a while place just erected out of no where, The factory, The town even the monastery. None of this place look like a place where anything should existed, Yet they are existed in the most modest and horrible way as much as possible. Its almost like the whole place shouldn't existed. When Illya became a companion. Its a confirmation that there are people and places out there aside from the monastery or that very rude raft man. But its also pretty much bleak, dry and very industrialized its like entirely different world on its own. This game reminding me of those Indie animation I used to watch on youtube pre 2010s. Back then there a channel call aniBOOM where they usually put up the animation which at that time I felt something stranges about them but can't put into word. This game just answer that question by showing the mentality and glimpse on what its like living in a place like that.

Imagine the taxes of living in a city where supervillains run rampant and create this scale of damage to the city and its infrastructure. Insurance companies hate NYC.

I just recently played the game, though I didn't finish it. I did play it all the way through until they descended into the crack. It is a gorgeous game, but my goodness it does drag on. I became impatient, and the game became a chore that I didn't enjoy. I'm super happy I found this walkthrough (?) Now I know what happened with the story.
